It looks like both Tuba Christmas (about 40 tubas playing Christmas Carols) and St. Joes' Cookie Walk (buy homemade Christmas treats buy the pound) are returning this year post-COVID.

I looked up Tuba Christmas and it looks like a grand tuba performance will happen on Sunday, December 11th at 4 pm at St. Joesph's Catholic Church, on Wilson right across the street from the City Hall in Menomonie. I plugged the event into my planner. Thank you Joyce Uhlir for the shout out about Tuba Christmas! I am looking forward to it😃

Ooo, that sounds like fun hearing 40 tubas playing some good ole classic Christmas hymns and lively carols! Is St. Joe's Cookie Walk a fundraiser event? Homemade cookies is a common staple in my household😁😋

The tuba hymns are very classic. This is an excellent event with decorated instruments and players of all abilities and ages - middle school to very elderly. And the whole concert is usually about an hour. Not too long for the kids. The Cookie Walk is a general fundraiser I believe for the charities the women of the church pick. They probably won't decide that until it is over. The Cookie Walk is a popular event, not just for the church. It is a lot of fun to put on a glove and pick your goodies. :)
