Thank you Kelley Jo! I feel it is my duty as a Dunn County neighbor to advise what appears questionable in the upcoming referendum. We always must scrutinize with a magnifying glass when it comes to these amended referendums. As far as the revised Title IX policy being passed in SDMA, it truly is sad that no parents were there to stand up for their children's safety and privacy. And for the school board members to be in a state of close mindedness.
Thank you for doing the research, Laurie, so we don't have to.
They actually don't give you a mike when you make comment to the board. It is kind of rude. Not a lot of listening going on though, so I guess it doesn't matter.
My hearing aid must of been working really well while at the SDMA School Board meeting. For I thought for sure all three of you were speaking on a mic, lol. By doing the research, it helped me learn a few new things along the way. I agree Joyce, they were rude and I too felt they ignored all three of you instead of truly listening to you with an open mind. I could tell by their body language they had their minds made up when Josie started speaking to the school board members. And Joyce, it does matter! Even though the board was not listening, Heavenly Father is listening and hears your concerns. Keep fighting the good fight! I personally feel their decision is going to kick them hard and will wish it was tabled while many litigations are still in progress throughout the country.
Your very welcome Barb! I am glad I can help you bring some kind of clarity and understanding to the upcoming referendum and of the Title IX policy. I hope it didn't make your head spin like it did with mine - LOL
Excellent job Laurie! I sure appreciate your work and ability to present the information to us.
