If you are a researcher like me or just want to learn more about some of the candidates running for Dunn County Board, please find below two podcasts of interviews given by Emilie Wiese for “Coffee at the Cottage” Podcast. The first podcast is an interview with Luke Wilsey, an incumbent from District 8 and Dustin Shackleton who is running for District 6. The second podcast is an interview with Jim Uhlir running for a spot in District 18 and Laurie J. Christianson (that’s me) for the seat in District 21.

The following list of candidates who are running for Dunn County Board of Supervisors are all in for Fiscal Responsibility. There is also a write-in School Board candidate, Josie Pillman running for a seat on the SDMA board.
And not on the above Voter Guide who just registered as a write-in candidate, Carol Larkin, will be running for Dunn County Board of Supervisors District 20.
In order to change our current situation of being in massive debt, the first step is to vote. The second step is to come to a county board meeting to observe or speak during public comments segment of the meeting. Write to your district supervisor if you have a concern/issue that needs to be addressed to the board. The above mentioned are just a few of the ways to be proactive in our county government. It is all about doing those little things that can create big, impactful changes to improve our way of life.
