Yes, Yes!! It's finally here! Summer time, Summer time, sum sum Summer time😎 Actually, on Tuesday the 21st which was officially the first day of Summer and the longest day of the year, the hubby and I were working in our garden and watering at 9:20 pm! How incredibly cool is that? This equates to a very productive first day of summer! Although come the 4th of July, many are so anxious to see the fireworks, they wish for the dark night sky to arrive by 9 pm instead of waiting until 10 pm to launch the fireworks off at Wakanda Park Beach in Menomonie. That's where the great virtue of patience comes into play😁 And by the way, Menomonie Community Fireworks will be on display July 2nd at dusk. Mmmmm…. maybe they will launch it at 9:50 pm instead of at 10 pm for all those anxious firework enthusiasts. Nothing like being optimistic! And let's not forget it's County Fair time across the great state of Wisconsin. That means 72 County Fairs to choose from for fair goers to enjoy during the summer months. One of these summers I would love to go County Fair hopping to check off on my bucket list. Maybe there is a Dunn County neighbor out there that has accomplished that adventure. I would love to hear which county in Wisconsin won the ultimate award of Best County Fair in Wisconsin. Would that mean a combination of great county fair food, carnival rides and games, the roaring crowd in the grandstand, admission price deals, animal judging and showcasing, or a great layout easy for the whole family to navigate around the county fairgrounds. Lots to consider for what a great county fair looks like. But if you want to save on gas which you need a lot of to go County Fair hopping, I highly recommend coming to the Dunn County Fair which starts on July 27th which is a Wednesday through Sunday, July 31st, 2022. This year's theme is County Nights and Carnival Lights. Admission is $5.00 per person and $15.00 season pass per person. Children 6 years old and under are free. And for an extra bonus, parking is free along with no Admission fee until 3 pm on Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday grounds open at 8 am. Last day of fair which is Sunday, grounds open at 9 am. If you want to know who is playing on the iHeart Media Stage for your music entertainment or which race car class will be roaring around the track at the grandstand, you can check out Dunn County Fair website at www.dunncountyfair.org. Enjoy all that Dunn County Fair has to offer and I hope to see many of my Dunn county neighbors at the county fair.
Off the beatin path, my husband found this cool place that was mentioned by some good friends of ours that offers fresh organic eggs, meats and veggies at very affordable prices. It also houses beautiful flowers, vegetable plants, herbs along with garden decor in their greenhouse. AND their pork is nitrate-free which I think is pretty sweet since it is quite hard these days to find nitrate-free meats. It's more than just an organic store in the middle of no where, it also provides landscaping services such as rock and block retaining walls, trees, shrubs and plantings, pond and streams, decorative beds, sprinkler system, pavers and patios, lighting and new yards! Wow!! Now that's quite an array of services to spruce up the curb appeal of your home. AND they also provide snow removal for your driveway and sidewalk on your property. It's also good to know they do storm cleanup if you are feeling overwhelmed to clean up your yard after a severe thunderstorm. So if your looking for some great fresh farm foods or vegetable plants for the garden, venture out on a beautiful drive toward Colfax on E7986 770th Avenue where Angela is ready to serve you for your fresh farm food needs or ready to answer any questions you may have about their many additional services offered at Whitetail Organics. You can also check them out online at www.whitetailorganics.com or on their Facebook page, Whitetail Organics for the latest sales to take advantage of. Or if you want to call first before venturing out to make sure they have what you need by calling them at 715-962-3202.
A wonderful patriot friend of mine introduced me to a video called, “The Authority of a County” from www.countybeforecountry.org presented by Matt Trewhella. The format is like Ted Talks in which are called, “County Before Country Express Talks” which generally are 14 to 17 minutes in length. Matt enables us to learn the critical information and actionable items you need to understand on a local level to secure your children, our country and our future. There are a series of videos on an array of topics that deal with serious issues we are facing as a society such as food supply chain issues, our 2nd amendment being trampled on by a tyrannical government, the failure of our public school system and how the county government can protect it's citizens from state and federal overreach. In the video, “The Authority of a County”, Matt stresses to attend your county board meetings to be able to familiarize yourself with how a county government works. Learn the stautes and ordinances in your county. Run for county office and establish a relationship with your County Board of Supervisors currently on the board. Matt also encourages citizens in a county to introduce four Resolutions to the board which are; 1.) Constitutional Resolution to enforce and uphold our U.S. and State Constitution as a county when the state and federal government are not. 2.) 2A Resolution to ensure as a county we have right to bear and keep arms that will not be infringed when we are experiencing a massive federal overreach who are trying to enforce unconstitutional gun control laws because of false flag mass shootings orchestrated by our three letter alphabet government agencies. No matter what kind of gun control laws you have in place, criminals will always find a way to get a gun in his or her hands. Law abiding citizens go through the due process according to the rule of law to obtain a firearm. The last thing you want is disarming law abiding citizens while a tyrannical government is in power. Look what happened to Australia, New Zealand and other nations where government disarmed their citizens. The government severely oppressed their people and the people are defenseless. 3.) Medical Freedom Resolution to protect the citizens in a county from the state and federal overreach of unconstitutional mandates and restricting citizens from trying alternative medicines. Citizens in a county deserve the right to choose for themselves what is best medically for their well-being verses hospitals and governments treating individuals as a one size fits all regimen. Everbody's body is different! No two DNA's are alike! 4.) Declare County a Sanctuary for the Unborn. With the recent overturn of Roe vs. Wade has reinforced Wisconsin's ban on abortion law of 1849 to take effect again which will protect the unborn in the state for the time being. This is a huge victory for the right of the unborn to the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Killing babies was never healthcare. As you go through those above described resolutions and go through the process, you will see who needs to be unseated in your county board. It's all about bringing God fearing men and women back into our county government where God reigns not government tyranny. Expanding God's kingdom through Christian localism as it states in countybeforecountry.org.
Matt Trewhella is the author of the best-selling book, The Doctrine of a Lesser Magistrate: A Proper Resistance to Tyranny and A Repudiation of Unlimited Obedience to Civil Government. And if you are interested in hearing him speak live right here in Dunn County, mark your calendar for August 11th and 12th! Dunn County Patriots will be hosting the event with special speaker, Matt Trewhella at Kyote's Den at 6:30 pm. This will be awesome presentations you will not want to miss! Make sure to spread the word to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, brothers and sisters in your church and family members.
