Hey? HEY? What's Up Dunn County!
It's All About the Children - Home Stretch - Adventures in the backyard
After attending two events this past week in regards to the welfare of our children, I realized it's all about the children. The first event I attended was on Tuesday night in Eau Claire at the Holiday Inn called, “Rock The Vote Rally” featuring three Eau Claire school board candidates, Corey Cronrath, Nicole Everson and Melissa Winter who want to make a difference for quality education for the children and give transparency and rights to the parents along with retaining and attracting quality teachers in ECSD. We also were introduced to our three Menomonie school district candidates, Scott Parker, Jen Sakry and Brittany Weiker who attended this event to learn more about the welfare of our children and what's at stake in community area school districts like Elk Mound, Altoona and Fall Creek. There even was an appearance by Assemblyman, Clint Moses on the panel who also currently is on the Menomonie School Board but will not be running for reelection on the school board. One statement he did acknowledge that stuck with me is, “before you even start your tenure on the board be sure you know what you are standing for and do not waver or cave in EVER!” We must always stand for truth and righteousness.
The eye opener about the current welfare of our children in public schools happened to take place when Dr. Duke Pesta who is Director of Freedom Project Academy and also hosts the “Dr. Duke Show” podcast. He is a tentured professor of English at UW-University of Oshkosh. In his presentation he talked about the dangers of Critical Race Theroy, common core and the federal takeover of education through the Department of Education, National School Board Association and the National Teachers Union. Government institutions should not be dictating what is best for the children. It's the parents that should have total control of their child's well-being and to ensure their children get the best possible education to help them reach their highest potential in this life. It is so vital for us to be standing up for our children and ensuring our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are truly receiving a quality education of arithmetic, reading, writing, U.S. history and science. Gender reassignment, identity politics, disturbing pornographic sex education at an extremely early age and Critical Race Theroy (CRT) do NOT belong in our children's classrooms. CRT is basically teaching hate, racism and is the beginning of Marxism ideology.
Parents absolutely have the right to know what is being taught to their children. Transparency is very much needed in our public school system. The children belong to the parents NOT THE STATE!! This statement reminds me when I watched, “Whose Children Are They? Exposing the Hidden Agenda in America's Schools” documentary on Friday night at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Wilson, WI. how much influence the national teacher's union has with teachers and what is taught and pressured to teach in the classroom. It doesn't surprise me that many teachers are leaving the public school system due to teaching curriculum that is againest their moral and ethical standards. It's extremely concerning that our children are continually being attacked and bombarded with all this nonsense and is taking a toll on our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's mental health and their childhood innocence.
The grooming and sexualizing of our children MUST STOP NOW! Influencing our children that God made a mistake on their gender MUST STOP NOW! Transgenderism is manufactured by the influence of man. All I see is our current government run schools are destroying the family, forgetting about God, who is our creator, and teaching children to hate themselves and their own country. We desperately need critical thinking, common sense and accountability back in our public school system. We need to save our children from this destructive path of marxism.
It's time to put prayer and God back in our schools. It's time for parents to take an active role in their children's school and extra curricular activities. It's time for schools to go back to the basics of math, reading, writing and science. And eliminating common core. Our children should have access to the best education to help them reach their highest potential through their gifts and talents Heavenly Father gave them.
This weekend that is coming to a close is the homestretch for those campaigning for local office. For many, including myself, it's our first time to run for office. Getting our name out there, what we stand for, meeting our neighbors in our districts and meeting them where their at and truly listening to them. Participating in and attending many events in the area to expand our sphere of influence and continue to get our names exposed throughout the County. We deeply appreciate all who sacrificed their time, gifts, talents and labors to support and stand by those Patriots who took the leap of faith and courage to make a difference in our communities by running for office.
It's a learning experience that will help us expand our horizon in becoming that great servant leader Heavenly Father wants us to become. To preserve the family unit, to bring God back to the public square, and to defend, preserve and cherish our freedoms and liberties that was given unto us by God through our founding fathers. It's time to bring righteous leaders into our local government. It's time for fiscal responsibility. To bring local government back to the people not the establishment. Freedom to choose for yourself and your family whether it's medical, educational or spiritual. And to ensure we have honest, open, transparent and fair election processes in place. If you are for freedom, faith and family and want a voice in your local government. Please vote on April 5th from the list of conservative candidates running for office in Dunn County.
You can also look up who is on your ballot in your ward, where your polling place is and so much more at myvote.wi.gov. Let's come together and vote like it's the general election in November. Nothing like a spring wave🌞
I and my husband had the honor to help out a fellow candidate canvass in the southern part of her district yesterday. And it turned out to be an awe and a wonder adventure while traveling house to house by the Dunnville Wildlife Area. By the way, the Red Cedar River and the Chippewa River join forces when it arrives at the Dunnville Wildlife Area. Pretty cool, huh?!? So back to our road trip in which we were east of the Red Cedar river and west of County Y. As we started traveling north toward Downsville on 510 Street I couldn’t help staring at the beautiful ridges on the horizon. It literally felt like we were in a mini Appalachian mountains. The peaks and valleys of this southern Dunn County area was just spectacular. And the people we met along the way who live in this gorgeous neck of the woods were friendly and lively as their surroundings. I did not capture any breathtaking pictures during our trek in Southern Dunn. And I am thinking it was meant to be so you can discover for yourselves the enchanting beauty of southern Dunn County. Ah yes! No need to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to seek out those scenic adventures. It's right here in our own backyard we call Dunn County.
Have a fantastic week and do not forget to adventure out and vote on April 5th!
From one Dunn County neighbor to another - Happy Adventures😎
