Hey! HEY! Hey! What's Up Dunn County?!?
Our Freedoms & Faith: It's Up to Us to Keep It! - Oh, The Mysteries of Those Voting Machines - "Y" to the Park on Lake Eau Galle
It truly is a blessing to be able to freely go wherever and do whatever one chooses, whether it's at a candy store, a boutique, a hair salon, a favorite restaurant, walk, jog or run through a park or trail, take the family to a movie or a picnic, plant a garden or go to the farmer's market, go camping or boating, enjoy the slopes on ski's or sled, admire the sunrise or sunset, to go to the shooting range, to hunt or fish, to snorkel or swim, to worship God at home, in a synagogue, in the temple, in a chapel or surrounded by nature. It matterth not where you go or what you do that will help you uplift your spirits, fill your hearts with joy and find that sense of peace in our lives. It boils down to free will. The freedom to choose for ourselves. To learn and grow through our life experiences. To find out what our strengths and weaknesses are along with our gifts and talents that our Father in Heaven gave us. Through those freedoms we cherish we can become more than we ever thought possible. And with those freedoms comes responsibility. To protect and defend all the freedoms and unalienable rights given to us by our creator. How do we preserve our freedoms and faith? It starts by reading and studying The Declaration of Independence, our U.S. Constitution and our Bill of Rights. We truly need to understand what our founding father’s gave us. It's essential to study and understand our U.S. Constitution in order to know when our freedoms and rights are being infringed. Knowledge is power. And when we use that knowledge it will empower us. I happen to carry a pocket U.S. Constitution in my purse where ever I go. It happens to be from The Heritage Foundation. You can go on www.heritage.org to receive a copy of your very own pocket Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States. Also to consider is an upcoming one day U.S. Constitution class hosted by Dunn County Patriots. More details forthcoming at www.dunncountypatriots.org. This one day class would be another way to be an informed citizen with a better understanding as to why The United States of America is that last beacon of hope and is the Home of the Free and of the Brave. Remember, as stated by President Ronald Reagan, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
It's time to talk about those mysterious big black machines at the polling place in each ward in Dunn County. And as I talked to many people from all over Dunn County we have mix feelings on these mysterious voting machines. Some think how wonderful it is to have technology to make our election process easier and more efficient. Let the machine do all of our reading, deciphering, tabulating, and counting of our votes. Less work for the poll workers, right? Then on the other hand, we have those who like to really know what goes on inside those mysterious big black machines. Especially those who are software programmers, cyber security professionals, database analysts or your average critical thinker. Yes, there is more to discover and ponder than meets the eye. If your a software programmer it doesn't take much to create a program to tell the data exactly how to process it. To add this, hold there, delete that. You get the picture, it's all about the manipulation of the data. Here's a link to a video from a congressional hearing in 2004 where a software programmer analyst explains how easy it is to hack the voting machines. https://rumble.com/vn2zd3-your-votes-have-been-stolen-with-algorithms-and-computers-since-2000..html This is nothing new folks. Our votes can easily be disenfranchised in a flash. And if your a cyber security expert, you probably see security breaches occurring during the use of those big black machines on election day. The newer machines actually have the modems built right inside them. Plus, if you can browse the internet on your phone at your polling place, you can bet those big black machines are alive and active on the internet. Here is an incredible link to the website called, http://securethevotecount.com This will educate you on the technical gap of the security monitoring of the voting machines and the need for a secondary control like a hand count. And I am not just saying a physical hand count of ballots but accurate accounting of every race in your local precient in every election. You can say it's reconciling the voting machines with the paper ballots. Machine vs. Man. If we can reconcile our checkbook, we can reconcile our elections. By the way, I have found my calculator to error calculations while reconciling my checkbook. So electronic devices are NOT flawless.
Last Sunday, I and my husband had the opportunity to take a little trip down County “Y” to our final destination of Pine View County Park that sits along Lake Eau Galle. County “Y” has some beautiful countryside of farm land and cool farms along with the Dunnville Wildlife Area. We also witnessed in the distance ridges of Durand. As we arrived at Pine View County Park we were welcomed with beautiful majestic pine trees before descending down into the County park. Lake Eau Galle is still active with ice fishermen during 50+ degree weather in Mid-March! It's a quaint little park with a pavilion, boat landing, a few picnic tables and restrooms. Below you will find some pictures of Pine View County Park with ice filled lake, pavilion and those beautiful pine trees I mentioned. A great place for a family picnic or just sit back and relax to the peaceful beauty of the lake.
May you enjoy this weekend with family and friends with much laughter, joy and adventures.
