Hey! Hey! Hey! What's Up Dunn County!
Let's Talk About Freedom-Cute Clothes and A Cool Place to Ice Skate😎
On March 4th which was last Friday happened to be a really exciting opportunity to join other Dunn County residents on any one of the Menomonie I-94 overpasses to support the Freedom Convoy that came through for the cause of ending mandates and restrictions related to Sars-Cov-2. My hat goes out to all the truckers who headed to the DC Beltway to be a voice for all freedom loving Americans defending our agency to choose for ourselves and our families from the unconstitutional mandates. The federal, state, and county government have no place dictating to us what is best for our body, mind and soul. I believe our government needs to be reminded what the definition of liberty means as stated in the Declaration of Independence and our U.S. Constitution. Liberty, “the quality or state of being free; the power to do as one pleases; freedom from physical restraint; the positive enjoyment of various social, political or economic rights and privileges and THE POWER OF CHOICE” as stated in the Webster Dictionary. It's pretty self explanatory to say the least. Protecting our agency to choose is a big deal! It is our God given right and is an unalienable right. Unfortunately, our government at this point is not doing their job of upholding, defending and protecting We The People’s rights and liberties as stated in our Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution. It took many brave and courageous truck drivers across the country to stand up for our freedoms and squash tyranny. This Freedom Convoy is not just about today's current situation and our current generation. It's about about securing and embracing our precious freedoms for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Above is Claire Greenwood looking on as the Freedom Convoy rolls into Menomonie via I-94.
It's my humble prayer that as they circle the DC Beltway this week, it will get the attention of the legislators and they will truly listen to the truckers asserting to end all mandates and restrictions related to Sars-Cov-2. I will post at the conclusion of my post some pictures I captured of some beautiful Patriots both young and old who cheered on our freedom loving truckers. The children had a blast! Ok, Ok! …Yes, the big children too had a blast as well🥳🇺🇸 Honk-Honk if you love freedom!
Now let's talk about cute clothes! I had the privilege to stop in at Mainstream Boutique on 1506 9th Street in Menomonie yesterday. I was greeted by the owner, Diana with a smile and a reply of, “You look like you are on a mission girl!”. And I WAS, for black ankle boots! And as I was trying some black and other color ankle boots(yes, my mission started to expand in the color department😁) we had some pretty lively conversations. From my memories of Finland, how government should run like a business(you know, like sticking to a budget-wise words from a business woman) and how utility bills and gas prices are going up the roof(I think we can all relate to that right now). I feel for her seeing the digital prices of the different grades of gasoline at the BP station right across 9th Street E from her boutique’s big picture window EVERY DAY as it continues to rise. That can be painful. I am looking forward to the day when our nation is once again self-sufficient with our own oil production. OK, let's move on to something more upbeat, like the fact I expanded my mission from black ankle boots to sweaters! Oh, the wonderful, soft and cozy sweaters she has AND on sale too! I found a bold gold cowl sweater that would look fabulous with some skirts I have. Of course, I had to try it ON. Here I thought I hit the jackpot…..well, not quite and it was the only gold sweater she had left. Despite having too small of feet and too large of a mid-section(Hey, I am just being honest and blunt) I really enjoyed my experience at Mainstream Boutique. Diana knows how to treat a customer right and at the same time makes you feel right at home. AND she is ramping up her boutique for a 6th Anniversary celebration on March 24th through the 26th! She is grateful to serve the community and receive so much support over the years. So let's continue to support her small business, Mainstream Boutique by stopping by on March 24th - March 26th and check out all those cute clothes AND spoil yourself a little bit.
Now for a discovery moment-Early this morning when I was hoping to capture a beautiful sunrise as I was driving along Wolske Bay my eyes couldn't stop looking at those Christmas lights still up in March! So I drove into the parking lot which is by Lakeside Park and discovered it's a great place to go ice skating! It's quite enchanting may I add, paths of ice trails going underneath a cute little bridge leading to the ice rink and a path ice trail also going onto the shores of Lake Menomin. I suppose they kept the Christmas lights up to have that enchanting, magical feel. And there is a brown building with a big picture window which still has an inflatable Santa inside to greet you as you get some ice skates to wear to cruise around the ice with your friends or sweetheart.
Oh, the cool places to go and enjoy with your family and friends or just by yourself for a little “me” time right here in Dunn County.

Time to take an adventure. It will be nice to know the place when someone mentions it. I have heard of it. Love the photo. It is indeed enchanting.
The Globalists left the lights up so the people would be forced to have to pay for their electricity. This is how they keep us enslaved!!!1!
